Little thought on Monday

Monday, September 12, 2011

Hello dearest friends, how was your weekend? I hope all good and happy. I just came back from Bandung - Indonesia, a very lovely place to go, but this time we went with mission (it was company trip). We built home for homeless together with Habitat -Indonesia.

This trip was a very meaningful trip for me, I learned that I should be thankful for what I have in my life. Those poor people at the village that we visited and did the project with, they are very friendly and cheerful people, in within their limitation they were still welcoming us with open hands and served us whatever that they had at their home. I came back with handful of fresh tomato from one lady at nearly my age (but already has grandchild), she invited us at her home and talked like an old friends. It really seem that they are very grateful about their life. Their houses are barely at the size of our master bedroom, but at least 5 to 8 person stays together. Therefore they are blessed with fertile lands and lovely weather. I took a lot of flower photos, so many beautiful wild flowers over there, event grass look greener at that place hehe... I will posted few photos about Bandung tomorrow.

Happy Monday...
