5 Holiday gifts picks {series} : For the love of handmade

Friday, November 18, 2011

Today is my first mini series for "5 Holiday gifts picks" series and I am so excited to post the first category among 5 categories " handmade gifts picks" by Lovely Sandy, fabulous artist and blogger from thecookiecutter blog. Thus, I really hope you enjoy what she shared.

These are Sandy's personal words why she chooses these fabulous handmade gifts for her friends and love one {click on each tittle for the link of the products}:

1. Polka dots porcelain milk jug
A milk carton in porcelain. I can imagine this being a conversation piece! The polka dots add a touch of cuteness and dash of color.

2. Four seasons paper cuts plates
I've always been amazed by the intricacy of paper cuts done by hand. Now, have them on your plates and delight your guests with them when you host a dinner!

3. Pocket notebooks
For the stationery lover, there can never be enough notebooks. These have such cute covers with pretty background patterns.

4. Animal Finger Puppets
Put up a little puppet show with your little one! It's having fun in a simple way, or use them as decoration. I love that they are of different textures.

5. Wood tree log bolster
I love wood. Rustic looking ones. And if I can't have them in the house, this would be the next closest things to have them.

And here what is Sandy favorite things to do to celebrate her holiday season:

'enjoying a delicious and good spread of home-cooked food with my loved ones. Toss in some bubbly. Together we reminisce the year that has passed and look forward to the promises waiting to be made'.

See you again next Friday at another ' 5 Holiday gifts picks' series. Even though Sandy covers two fabulous handmade gift for kids in this post, but I am sure Marie from The Etincelle Creative Studio will share her fabulous picks for kids next week. Owww.... I can't wait for it.
