Merry Christmas + { tea party at home}

Friday, December 21, 2012

Hello dearest friends, today will be my last day of blogging at 2012, I am taking two weeks blog break and I will be back on the 7th January 2013. Hopefully with more fresh ideas and new blog design. I am going to miss this place for two weeks, however my time will be well spent with my family and dearest friends to celebrate the joyful Christmas and New Year. That is likely what we are all hope for, the hope for a better year in 2013. This year has been so much trial for my self, as I lost 2 dearest friends in a young ages for some sad reason. There has been a tough year as well for my personal goal, however, all of  hard lessons are a good lesson to learn and to make me become a stronger person. I feel blessed with what I experience and had, I am sure next year will be a better and awesome year for me and for all of you as well.

Today in this post, I want to share some of the pictures that I took during Christmas tea party at my home where I invited my close girl friends. I always believe good friends are like a candle in the dark, I cherish our friendship.

For the party, I am using my tea set that I always put at my living room cabinet. I am so glad that finally I had a chance to use them haha.... I mix and match with my dessert plates, the contrast between flowery pattern and dots looks so girly and whimsical. I tied small ribbon at each cup and tinsel at each fork and spoon.

I baked vanilla cake and make the washi flag cake topper to pretty up the cake yet still keeping them simple. I also made three tiers hors d'oeuvre ; devil eggs, smoke salmon crackers and baguette grapes topping. Beside that I baked the main dish which is tuna pasta casserole. My girl friend brought her yummy homemade cheese brownies and cookies.  There was sure plenty of homemade food at that time :).

Another girl friend brought tiny wrapped presents for everyone, it fited perfectly under my tiny Christmas tree... everyone had a girly present too.

Lastly we took plenty of  silly pictures with my cupcake liner Christmas light, so much laughter at that time. You girls are rocks!

With this, I wish everyone, my lovely readers a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Thank you so much for being such an awesome readers and I wish to connect with you again next year....

I still share picture  during my blog break at my Instagram and tweet once in a while.
