A little thought on Monday + {local delight}

Hello lovelies. Do you have  a really good weekend? Mine was full of cooking and eating. I am a big fans of gastronomy and trying new places to dine. Kuala Lumpur has so many places to offer when it comes for food. Next year is a 'Visit Malaysia Year', there will be plenty of tourism campaign over the globe to promote the event. If you have any chance to visit Kuala Lumpur, do explore the foods and dining places, you won't be regret :).

Last Saturday, my hubby brought me to seafood bar calls Shucked. It located inside Ben's Independent Grocer under the BIG group. What I like about this concept is people conveniently can enjoy their fresh buy on the spot into a simple and fresh dish from the seafood section. The crew will cook for you depend on what you like it to be. Mostly will be a minimal cooking as the seafood it self is very fresh and its best to enjoy.  It remind me about the original farmer market in LA that I visited two years ago, however they brought the concept into upscale grocery shop and offer a different perspective of life style.

We order, Australian muscle cooked with white wine that we bought at the grocery too, Iris fresh oyster and raw Netherlands herring. It is ok to splurge once in a blue moon to experience this dishes :).

On the other side, I am going to Ho Chin Minh city this coming Thursday, so I will be off till next week from this blog. If I can I will drop by this Wednesday for the picks series, if can't then till I'll talk to you again next week.

Happy Monday!
